Great speakers, great upgrade to XT1
Strengths: USB power, good sound quality, built in mic
Weakness: Expensive
Overall, this is a great update to the popular Altec Lansing XT1 speakers. These finally include a stand, have a built in microphone, dual power supply (USB+AC, so you have hook up your mp3 player to them), ability to hook them up to a subwoofer, which is extra $50.
